Our first official Beach Day started off pretty foggy, but comfortable. The tide was way out (one of the lowest we'll see this summer) and the kids got a kick out of digging, building sandcastles, and searching for treasures all morning and into the early afternoon.
The sun finally burned through the thick blanket of rolling fog, we enjoyed the breezes and lunch.
