It's frick-frackin hot 'round these parts, triple digits today with high humidity and no breeze. It took poor ol' N 2 hours to settle in for sleep last night, even though he was only outfitted in a diaper and a light blanket swaddle. We purchased a small air conditioner earlier in the summer, but I'm afraid it's not much help...only keeping the upstairs a toasty 82 degrees. That left us with only a few activities worth exerting energy on; Mary Poppins won out without an argument on my part (I hate turning the TV on in the Summer). It's one of E's all-time favorites, and N loved the music, kicking his little bare feet like crazy.
these photos make me miss you all! my work schedule has been crazy and we've been getting out of town on weekends. i still want to have you over for a playdate etc!
