$1 Ride Day!

We made our way down to The Puyallup Fair for $1 Ride Day. This proved to be a great idea as any other day each ticket is 85 cents, with most rides ranging from 3-6 tickets. With most of kid population in school we filtered through the rides, animal barns, and the flower house stopping for a homemade lunch , to watch a man being shot out of a cannon, and to see if E would follow through on her interest in Mutton Bustin' (a no go). It was a fun day to spend with family, and we were all surprised when we checked our watches and found we had been there for 7 hours!

  1. man oh man, did we miss the dollar ride day! we just went on sunday, and even with rationing out the rides, we spent more than at a day at a real amusement park. (sigh) but it was fun, and once a year technically, (haven't been in a few tho) and totally worth the smiles and memories.

how in THE WORLD did you get cannonball man coming out of the cannonball? i clicked, and he was already in the net!

and this was the first time i've ever seen, let alone heard of, mutton bustin'. i don't think i've been so surprised or laughed so hard in a long time!...

    ah. the fair.
